Mr. Kamula has been in private litigation and transactional practice focusing primarily on contract preparation, review, negotiation and management; contract due diligence; government contracting; government administration; real estate; corporate risk management; HOA; banking, business, commercial, corporate, transactional law; admiralty/maritime; and insurance defense . As a seasoned litigator and transactional attorney, he provides clients with high-level consultation and proactive advice on how to succeed in the various realms in which he practices. He is the creator of the “Concierge Counsel” © platform serving as General Counsel to several businesses.

Mr. Kamula has counseled a diverse spectrum of maritime and corporate clients including nationally and internationally known cruise lines, private yacht and mega-yacht owners, insurance carriers, corporations and individuals. After practicing with preeminent firms in the South Florida area, Mr. Kamula became the managing named partner in his own boutique law firm specializing in maritime law and corporate real estate transactions that provided personalized service to the firm’s select list of clients. He knows how to impact decisions within various arenas and with key executives to achieve his clients’ business goals.

Brief Summary of Experience

Mr. Kamula is a principal in the Kamula Law Group, a small, boutique law firm in both California and South Florida areas. He transitioned from private practice into the corporate world by assuming the position of Executive Vice President of Operations and General Counsel to a California-based IT services corporation. In this capacity he oversaw all operational, transactional, real estate and legal matters for the company in the areas the company did business including the Federal government and various state governments.

Mr. Kamula has lectured at numerous seminars focusing on legal ethics in the changing world of legal technology in addition to speaking at various trade organization events on a wide variety of topics. He has chaired the prestigious Ft. Lauderdale Mariners Club insurance seminar, the benchmark trade seminar in the United States. Currently, he has been appearing on the "Diamond in the Rough" Radio Show on WSBR 1470 AM as a guest speaker with Bob Diamond and Michael Stern. He has been interviewed on topics ranging from "Long Term Care Insurance Policies: A Caregiver’s Perspective" and "Asset Protection: An Overview of What You Should Do � Proactive Business Structure, Planning, and Risk Management".

Mr. Kamula is admitted to the practice of law in three states: California, Florida, and Washington. Furthermore, he is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeal and the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.

Educational Background

Mr. Kamula received both his Bachelor of Arts degree (magna cum laude) and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami. While at the University of Miami, Mr. Kamula was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Kappa and Mortar Board Honor Societies.
